USA Brings Home Gold and Silver at the 2026 North American Volt Hockey Championships

For the second year in a row, teams from the United States are bringing home both gold and silver in Division 2 at the North American Volt Hockey Championships in Toronto, Canada!

Boston Whiplash 2 captured their first-ever gold medal after an incredible tournament run, while the Rolling Warriors continued to establish themselves among the top teams in North America with another podium finish and a hard-fought silver medal performance.

Boston Whiplash 1 also put together a strong showing in Division 1 against some of the top competition in the tournament, while Boston Whiplash 3 battled hard throughout Division 2 and continued to gain valuable experience on the international stage.

Hosted at the incredible Variety Village, the tournament showcased not only the continued growth of volt hockey across North America, but also the tremendous progress of the athletes competing in the sport. Every year, the level of play continues to rise, and this weekend was no exception. From fast-paced gameplay and dramatic goals to incredible teamwork and sportsmanship, the championships were a reminder of just how remarkable this community has become.

Beyond the results on the court, one of the highlights of the weekend was the energy and support surrounding every game. Coaches, parents, family members, friends, volunteers, and supporters all played a huge role in creating such an unforgettable atmosphere throughout the tournament weekend. The cheering sections were loud, passionate, and nonstop from start to finish.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to all of the organizers, athletes, referees, and pit crew members who helped make another successful championship possible. Hosting an international tournament of this scale is no small task, and the entire Canadian volt hockey community once again made everyone feel incredibly welcomed through their kindness and hospitality.
