In 2022, Gävle, Sweden welcomed 22 teams consisting of over 200 players from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Canada and the USA for the first ever Volt Hockey World Cup.

The third annual World Cup will be held once again in Gävle September 21 - 22, 2024.
