2026 Champions League in Aabenraa, Denmark
When our president, Marley, found out her team’s practice was canceled for the weekend just four days before the tournament, we figured… why not hop on a flight to Denmark and watch some of the best volt hockey in the world for an “educational work trip”?
The Champions League brings together the top two teams from each Scandinavian country, and this year Canada joined the competition for the first time. They made a terrific debut and absolutely held their own against some of the most elite teams in the sport- so proud of our North American neighbors!
We had the best time reconnecting with our international volt hockey community, cheering on our honorary BVH Lions teammates who trained with us at our clinic this summer, and getting a behind the scenes look at the facility’s in house volt hockey chair storage and repair shop.
A massive congratulations to everyone involved in such a great weekend of competition, and to IFAH Stockholm for taking home the gold and keeping their undefeated streak going!
Getting to experience tournaments like this makes us even more excited about where volt hockey can go in the U.S. and shows us the level of play that’s possible to achieve!
