Year 3 presenting at the SMA Conference! ✅

We’ve officially taken our adaptive sports workshop coast to coast with Cure SMA — with, Orlando, Florida added to the USVHA travel log!

This past weekend, our president Marley joined fellow panelists Charlie, Kurt, and Alyssa (all athletes and/or athletic trainers with SMA) to share their experiences with adaptive sports during “Adaptive Sports for All.” The panel covered everything from wheelchair basketball, power soccer, kayaking, skiing, biking, and, of course, our personal favorite… volt hockey! ⚡⚡⚡ And sticking with tradition, the whole thing was kept on track by dad-joke connoisseur and moderator himself, Ed!

With more than 110 attendees in a packed room, this was our biggest SMA Conference workshop yet! A massive thank you to Cure SMA and Novartis for bringing us back and helping more people with SMA and their families discover the many ways to get active, competitive, adventurous, and connected through adaptive sports 🧡💜
